Why is it that in most retirement homes that there mostly whites? - retirement homes vancouver
are usually aware that in the homes and for ethnic people who do not live there. Thu familes ethnicity, family takes care of them, which means that we still live with the family and not in a nursing home? End alone?
I am not trying to offend anyone here. I ask myself that.

I realized that too in cases where my mother was in a nursing home. I think it's because we try to (African Americans) tend to our loved ones back home with us and keep his primary caregiver. My Nana reach the point where he needs care 24 hours, so he took the difficult decision to put into a nursing home. Only minutes away from my mother and visit us every day. My mother has her clothes in the morning and every day they go to bed. "We believe that we leave our beloved, if we send. Another reason why I think that is the cost. These devices are expensive, and some of us were not prepared for the future and if you have a loved one in a house, take all the savings and monthly income.
